The last hope

I tried it again and wrote a comment to a staff member of DA. I tried to explain why all people are so angry.

Ok. Here is my last try to explain why it is now not so easy.

You started communication too late. I'm sure you know that, so no need to talk more about it.

It's ok, that some people are not able to buy premium or core. But think of this: Most people that don't have the money were able to safe their money for it. They do this for years now. And now you have taken it from them. It was one of the little things they had. Now they don't have it any more. It's not, that there is something, that they can't have, it's more like: I always had it and now i can never have it again. 

It's like you lost your house from one day to another because suddenly you have to pay more to keep it. Can you imagine? I hope so. Proof me that my opinion about you is wrong. I don't want to be so angry and rude to you staff members, but that is how we feel: 

You took our house and say: we think the house is worth more than you have payed before.

I still suggest to go back to premium that is only a little bit more expensive than 30$. Maybe 35$. You could implement an additional membership where people can decide for one year to pay MORE than 35$ (they choose the amount - maybe in 5$ steps) to support DA. Before half DA was getting so angry there would have been so many people who glady had done this to support you. Here you are on the crossroads. Decide something. Surprise the angry people. Is it so hard for you to appologize and make a step back?

I was so hurt by the coffee thing of maddie. This year, things are a little bit better for me, but most of my life I wasn't even able to buy something to eat some days. And I live in Germany. I had the option to cry or to scream. I decided to scream. Well this isn't the best way to do something, but we poor people get treated like dirt on every corner. So maybe you can imagine how it feels to us to be poor. When we loose our home because someone said this is just a moderatly priced coffee. DA is our home. That's why we rage out like that. 

Please for only 5 seconds: Close your eyes and imagine you live in a house with your family, a great school, friends in the neighbourhood for years and suddenly all this is gone.

Premium was not only a product. When we bought it to use widgets and costumize our profiles it was because of the same reason we paint the walls of our home. 

Maybe this will change your mind. Maybe this makes clear why people were so angry and rude, said so rude words to you. I did it, too. But maybe if I can change, you can do it, too?

Please try to imagine how it is to loose your home. When you have to live in a cold, white painted room without fancy furniture and without posters etc. Try to imagine. 

We are screaming because this is the only way we don't cry. For a little time during the day we could log in and be on a place that is our place. And now you say that we have to pay more to stay in our home. Well, you don't tell us to live anywhere else, but you say: See we have these wonderfull impersonal room for you to live. Have a nice life.

I cry And to not to cry, I scream. And so does the angry mob.
